This sweet boy has been through hell and back. We are so thankful we rescued him when we did. Jake was a stray who ended up at a high kill shelter. Volunteers at the shelter fell in love with this boy and with the help of a few people, we were able to rescue him from a horrible fate. Jake was covered with demodex mange and because the mange was so severe he had contracted a staff infection. His entire body was covered in scabs and he had lost so much of his hair. When you meet Jake, you would NEVER know he has been through so much. He is always so excited to see anyone who will give him love. His personality is infectious. He is on his way to a speedy recovery. His mange is cured and his hair is growing back nicely. He is not yet ready to be adopted, but we are taking applications and can not wait to find him the home he deserves.
